Our Institute acquires Membership of the Association of Internet Researchers

Dr. Marina Shorer-Zeltser (Ph.D.)

Dr. Marina Shorer-Zeltser is the Principal of the Institute of Identity Research (IDmap, www.idmap.net), which combines programs of Internet education and advanced Internet research in the field of Identity. Dr. Shorer-Zeltser gained experience in both fundamental and applied research of the Social Sciences. Her educational background includes Public Policy, International Economics, Political Sciences and Media studies. Her publications cover a wide range of Social Sciences fields as Voting Methods, Internet communities, Political Economy, Identity Politics and qualitative and quantitative textual analysis. She lectures on International Relations, Political Economy, Internet analysis and Identity politics.

Dr. Galit M. Ben-Israel (Fixler)

Dr. Galit Ben-Israel is the Head of the Project of Identity, Terror and CyberSpace, in the Institute of Identity Research (IDmap, www.idmap.net). Her research field cover themes of: Global Terror, Ethnicity, Diaspora and Internet Networks. Dr. Galit Ben-Israel is also a  Lecturer at Ben Gurion University, Department of Politics and Government where she teaches courses of: World Politics and Globalization; Muslim Terror on the Digital Era and the Internet; Virutal Communities and Cyber-Terrorism.
